It’s May already… everyone is working on their summer bodies! We are here to help you solve the mystery of why you can’t see your abs! Are you a gym-goer? How many times a week do you work out? The average is 3-5 times a week for avid gym-goers. What is the reason you go to the gym? Most people are not in the gym just because working out is fun, although many people do love the fellowship and camaraderie. We do it to build a healthy, muscular, great-looking body. Although you “lay” the groundwork for muscle growth in the weight room, most of the growth happens at night, while you’re asleep. If you don’t get enough rest, you won’t get the muscle growth you want. A lack of sleep causes the stress hormone cortisol to prompt your body to store excess fat around your midsection. 5) You Have Excess Body Fat It doesn’t take much fat to hide the muscles in your abdomen.
